People, tasks and technology

Historically, IT solutions have been projects run in individual divisions of a corporation without considering the enterprises total information and process flow requirements. The challenge often lies in creating an effective synergy across corporate divisions, professional boundaries, government sectors, corporate culture and across generations of legacy systems with differing solution strategies, technology and architecture.

There are many considerations to take into account when developing a new architecture for IT solutions in a complex environment. There are many legacy systems and solutions that have been built throughout the years that are mission critical and are operational 24/7. We wish to develop new solutions that will streamline the business processes, allow information and knowledge to be more accessible and make systems easier to use.

In today’s market, companies must be able to quickly react to change. The time between making a decision to change a business rule and the time that it must be implemented is often very short. This is the case both in the government and private sector whether it is ordained by law or as a result of a market change. IT systems that are domain specific are difficult to maintain and quickly become isolated legacy systems.

System integration

To secure investments in existing solutions and infrastructure it is important that new solutions build upon and extend existing functionality.
